Stratascale Celebrates Grand Opening of Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina
On Thursday, September 12, Stratascale, a cybersecurity company delivering strategy, solutions, and managed services to the Fortune 1000, opened the doors to a 19,000-square-foot headquarters in Charlotte.
“Charlotte’s tech ecosystem is growing quickly, and we want to be at the center of it,” said David Olzak, SVP of Stratascale. “When we envisioned our headquarters, we pictured a dynamic and vibrant space where our clients, partners, and team members could connect and cultivate ideas. It’s exciting to see our vision come to life and to have the opportunity to be a driving force for cybersecurity in Charlotte."
Located at One Independence Center, the Stratascale Headquarters was designed with flexibility and innovation in mind. The space features an Executive Briefing Center for interactive client meetings, town hall area for company broadcasts, production studio for storytelling, as well as spaces that promote collaboration between team members and clients.
The office is also home to Stratascale’s Cybersecurity Fusion Center, a dedicated security operations center that combines battletested talent with automation to help clients proactively defend against modern adversaries 24/7/365.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of SHI, the largest Minority/Woman Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) in the United States, the company chose Charlotte as it’s national headquarters because of the proximity to its key client base and burgeoning technology community.
While doors have just opened, Stratascale already has plans to double its Charlotte-based workforce by the end of 2024, with over 50 team members working from 101 N. Tryon weekly. Additionally, Stratascale looks forward to playing a key role in developing young tech talent in Charlotte.
“Through our partnership with UNC Charlotte’s College of Computing and Informatics, and initiatives like our summer intern program, we hope to play a prominent role in building the next generation of tech talent,” said Chief Operating Officer, Jason Hood. “We proudly welcomed our first class of interns this summer and look forward to continuing our program into 2025, and beyond.”
